Housing every Veteran: Strategic Landlord Partnerships for the Hardest to House
Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) has successfully created partnerships with landlords who are willing to house Veterans with the highest barriers. Many also struggle with mental health challenges, ongoing disordered chemical use, and challenges with household and budget management. However, despite this, not a single Veteran housed through this program has been evicted and over 90% of those housed since the program’s inception remain housed. This session will give providers the tools and knowledge to build these landlord relationships in their communities.

A Partnership to End Veteran Homelessness
To end veteran homelessness, a unique public-private partnership has developed in Minneapolis. The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) has partnered with a private property management company – Property Solutions & Services (PSS) – to develop a referral system that prioritizes permanent housing for homeless Veteran households.
